Hope Walks Here

Description
The Keller ISD Counseling Department invites you to the "Hope Walks Here" suicide prevention walk on Saturday, May 10, as they proudly partner with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention for this meaningful event. The Out of the Darkness Walk is designed to engage youth and young adults in the fight to prevent suicide--currently the second leading cause of death among people aged 15-24. This walk is more than a step forward; it's an opportunity to open up about our connections to this cause and create a culture that's smarter about mental health. Friends, family members, neighbors, and coworkers walk side-by-side, offering support and remembering those we've lost. Suicide is preventable. Mental health is as important as physical health. Together, we can change the conversation and strive for a world without suicide. Join us as we take steps--literal and symbolic--toward hope, healing, and awareness.
