Casey's Kids 5K/Fun Run, Health & Wellness Expo

Mark your calendars! The Keller Council of PTAs is excited to announce thatthe 28thannual Casey's Kids 5K/Fun Run and Health & Wellness Expo will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Bear Creek Park. Grab your friends, family, and classmates and sign up today ! The 1-mile Fun Run is set for 8 a.m., and the timed 5K will start at 8:30 a.m. All of the proceeds from the run will go toward the Keller Council of PTAs Casey's Kids fund to support programs for students and families in need in Keller ISD. In addition to running for a great cause, families can: * Explore the KISD Family Health Expo featuring local vendors; * Enjoy performances by KISD Fine Arts; * Play in the inflatable park; * Grab a snack at a food truck; * Win door prizes. Additionally, the school with the highest participation in the 5K/Fun Runwill win the coveted Casey's Cup! Casey's Kids, inspired by former Keller ISD counselor Janie Casey, has been a cherished program within Keller ISD for many years. Ms. Casey discovered that a student was missing school due to a lack of clothing. This revelation motivated Ms. Casey to create a solution for providing clothing to disadvantaged students. In 1997, the Keller Council of PTAs took on this vital initiative, and today, its mission is to supply clothing, essentials, backpacks, and school supplies to KISD students to help them make their potential a reality.
