Immunization Clinic

Keller ISD will host a Student Immunization Clinic conducted by Passport Health/Staying Healthy Medical Services from 1-6 p.m. Friday, August 2, to get students up to date on immunizations for the school year. A printed current vaccine record or a note from the student's school stating any missing vaccines is required. A paper copy must be provided; electronic proof cannot be accepted. The clinic is only open to Keller ISD students ages 3-18, and the visit should not replace any well-child check-ups with the student's pediatrician. Parents or guardians must be present with the student at the clinic. Older children who resist shots and children with special needs cannot be seen given the nature of this clinic, and Passport Health recommends contacting your pediatrician for assistance with vaccines. Vaccines available include: * Chicken Pox * DtaP * Hepatitis A * Hepatitis B * HIB * Meningococcal (7th grade & college required) * MMR * Polio * Pneumonia * TDaP Staff and supplies are limited, so the clinic may be discontinued if supplies or time runs out. Passport Health cannot guarantee that everyone will be seen. The clinic will accept the following forms of payment: * Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, and UnitedHealthcare PPO plans will be accepted. * Cannot accept Aetna and Blue Cross Gold, Silver, or Bronze plans, or HMO plans with any insurance company * A paper photo copy of the insurance card and driver's license MUST be provided to receive vaccines at no charge. Electronic copies cannot be accepted. * Medicaid/CHIP * No charge for vaccines. * Must provide a paper photo copy of card. * Uninsured * $10 per vaccine ($40 maximum per child) Only cash or checks will be accepted, but no bills over $20 can be accepted.
